A woman became pinned between a trailer and a landscaping truck and was seriously injured in Litchfield, police say.

The incident happened Tuesday on Baldwin Hills Road.

Police say an SUV rear ended a landscaping trailer and a 29-year-old female worker was pinned by her legs between a pickup truck and the landscaping trailer.

She was taken to Waterbury Hospital with serious injuries.

Officials say several other people were evaluated at the scene, but refused to go to the hospital.

State police are now investigating the incident.
