The day-long festival of Porchfest brought out dozens in Bridgeport for a night of fun. It featured local musicians playing on porches throughout the Black Rock neighborhood.
The local tradition also includes vendors, food and fun for local families.
"If you've ever been to Black Rock or you've never been to Black Rock, you should come just to experience it. This is one of the best neighborhoods in the country,” said Christine Demarco, of the Black Rock Holistic Health Center.
The festival featured more than 50 local bands, according to organizers.
"It feels great to just put myself on my porch and begin playing music,” said musician Gianni Leito. “It's a nice way to start the day.”
