Seasonable weather wraps the week

A nice stretch of weather is on the way, but there is a chance for a few stray showers early next week

FORECAST:
The weather will remain quiet, dry and seasonable heading into Friday.
Temperatures this week have gone from slightly below normal, to above normal and now we are in the "goldilocks" range of just right.
Friday's weather and even Saturday's weather looks pretty good.
There will be some cloudier moments like early Friday morning and even later Saturday, but the rain should hold off for now.
There is a chance we could see some showers or even thunderstorms ramp up later Sunday and into Monday.
There is high uncertainty with this part of the forecast and it is a few days away, so check back in for more updates.
The latest drought monitor was updated Wednesday, Southern sections of Fairfield and New Haven Counties still show abnormally dry conditions.
Coastal Flood Statement: More brief, minor coastal flooding may be an issue again for Friday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Up to 1/2 feet of water in the most vulnerable waterfront locations.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy, late showers or storm . High of 79.
