There is a new program to help them repair cracked and broken sidewalks in Bridgeport.
The city has set aside $3 million to split costs 50/50 with homeowners to get the job done.

As part of the kick off, Mayor Joe Ganim and city officials visited Cynthia Dawkins’ home on Willow Street.

Ganim had promised Dawkins that her sidewalk would be fixed for her and her son, who uses a wheelchair.
