Protesters marched through Greenwich Saturday afternoon to demand fairness for the poor.
The marchers, who named themselves "Hedge Clippers," say they're angry that billionaires in Greenwich aren't paying what they believe to be a fair share of taxes. The political influence of the billionaires has hurt schools and the poor, and destroyed jobs, according the group.
The protesters rallied in front of Greenwich Library before marching down Greenwich Avenue and Field Point Road.
One target of the "Hedge Clippers" is hedge fund manager Paul Tudor Jones. They claim that Jones has avoided paying taxes in New York. The group rallied as close to his home as police would allow.
Protesters representing several different New York community action groups took part in the protest.
