A pop-up shop in the borough has been helping people celebrate Puerto Rican pride for the last 30 years.
Every year from mid-May to mid-June, the corner of White Plains Road and Bruckner Boulevard in taken over by all things Puerto Rican.
The shop sells all different kinds of merchandise including shirts, flags and magnets.
The Gonzalez family has been running the stand for almost 30 years to make sure Puerto Ricans people in the Bronx can represent their native country.
The family tells News 12 that they are the original pop up shop in the borough.
They say they are thankful for the people who come to their stand year after year.
The pop-up shop will be open through Sunday, when the citywide Puerto Rican Day Parade marches on 5th Avenue in Manhattan.
