A high school teacher is facing sex charges involving a 16-year-old female student.
Christopher Vlangas, a 31-year-old Naval Science teacher from Sherman, was arrested Monday in Danbury.
Police say a staff member reported the alleged sexual relationship between Vlangas and the student.
News 12 is told Vlangas is facing several charges, including multiple counts of statutory rape.
