Rain chance before the Labor Day weekend

Scattered showers will develop on Friday with clearing for Saturday.

FORECAST:
After a couple of really chilly nights, temperatures take a slightly milder turn heading into Friday.
Expect more clouds and even a few showers heading into the morning with a southwest wind flow.
Temperatures won't be quite as low with 60s on the way.
There is a risk of showers during the day with a few isolated thunderstorms in the area. The humidity level will be up a touch until the cold front crosses later in the day.
A cold front will once again bring a refreshing feel back into Western Connecticut for Saturday and through the weekend. The coolest day of the holiday weekend will be Saturday, and then by Monday, temperatures will return to the upper 70s.
The dry stretch of weather sticks from the weekend and through most of next week.
Rain will return about a week from now.
