Rain returns Wednesday with thunderstorms possible

NOW & NEW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Steve Teeling says overnight will be clear and chilly with lows in the 40s. Wednesday will start mostly sunny but by late afternoon some scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm will develop north to south across the region.
NEXT: Thursday will be sunny, breezy and cooler behind that cold front with Friday and Saturday looking to be mostly sunny and seasonable. Sunday and Memorial Day Monday look to be partly sunny but dry with highs well into the 70s.
