After days of rainy weather, golfers finally hit the Oak Hills Golf Club in Norwalk Wednesday.
Golf-related businesses and frustrated golfers say the weather has taken its toll. Oak Hills got a break from the rainy weather with droves of golfers flocking to the course Wednesday.
Vincent Grillo, of the Oak Hills Golf Club, says the course's revenues are significantly off target due to the rainfall turning golfers away.
Although Oak Hills representatives say public golf courses are recession-proof to a certain extent, they aren?t weather proof.
Golfers say they aren't playing as well because of the soggy greens and fairways.
