Ralph n Rich's celebrates 35 years in the restaurant business

The Ralph n Rich's restaurant on Main Street celebrated its 35th anniversary Thursday.
It opened its first location on Nov. 13, 1990 on Wall Street, serving and authentic Italian fare.
It later migrated to Bridgeport, CT, where, for the last 19 years, enhanced its menu to include the raw bar, chops and its family-style special, Sunday sauce.
Owner Ralph Silano reflected on what makes his restaurant a community staple downtown,
"I like the loyalty of the customers and being friendly with the customers you're always going to find an owner here so we have a good relationship with customers...we talk to customers we know a lot about what's going on with their lives they know what's going on with our lives so we try to keep it that way," he says.
The restaurant is grateful to have overcome potential hardships that could impact a restaurants success like COVID, inflation and storms over the last three decades.
