Recent spikes in COVID, flu, RSV cause shortages in certain prescription medications
Many people nationwide are having trouble finding high-profile prescription drugs.
Among those hard-to-find medications are the antibiotic Amoxicillin and the ADHD treatment Adderall.
Some of the shortages are caused by the significant recent rise in three viral illnesses, COVID-19, RSV and the flu.
The Consumer Healthcare Products Association says drugmakers are working nonstop to fill the demand.
The Food and Drug Administration also says it is keeping close watch on the matter and will do what it can to help increase production.
