Gov. M. Jodi Rell announced Friday millions in renovations she says will dramatically enhance Connecticut's rail system.
Rell made her announcement at the Cos Cob Commuter Rail Station in Greenwich. The governor expects the state's bond commission to approve the improvements when they vote next week.
Included in the improvements is a $100 million investment into the New Haven Rail Yard Facility Complex, as well as more trains and power for the busy commuter line between Connecticut and New York.
