Gov. Jodi Rell signed a bill Wednesday requiring all homeowners in foreclosure to go through mediation.
Rell says the bill, which was signed at Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport, will help keep more families in their homes.
But homeowners who've gone through an optional mediation process argue that some mediators don't coordinate with agencies that counsel homeowners, causing confusion and wasted tax dollars.
