A Westport principal is reportedly a step away from having criminal charges against her dismissed.
As News 12 has reported, Coleytown Middle School Principal Kris Szabo was placed on administrative leave after being charged with slapping a man during an argument over a parking space in her hometown of Southbury.
Hearst Media reports that the state's attorney's office told a judge on Tuesday that her office will not actively pursue the case, and is willing to drop the charge entirely if Szabo avoids any more trouble for the next year.
