Residents in Stamford who are sick of searching for street parking may soon get some relief.
Residential parking zones could finally be returning after a three-year ban.
Residents can speak out Thursday night on a plan to finally bring new residential parking zones to Stamford. Residents would get a special parking sticker.
"I think it would be great if we could have a sticker and put it so we can park on the street,” says Kristina DiSanto. “I mean, I understand when it gets excessive like six or seven cars, but I think if there is a limit on it, then having a sticker would be awesome."
The city put a hold on new parking zones three years ago after city leaders said too many people were abusing the program.
