Temperatures will once again soar today, and many residents are expected at Connecticut's shoreline to beat the heat
The temperature could reach the low 90s today, according to News 12 meteorologists.
Town officials in Westport over the weekend closed and reopened the parking lot at Compo Beach as needed to prevent overcrowding of people.
In Fairfield, beachgoers will need a beach sticker to park in the parking lots.
On the weekends, those who walk to the beach will also need to show proof of residency.
