Bridgeport residents who were forced to evacuate during a gas leak late this morning are now being allowed to return to their homes.
Firefighters closed the road near the intersection of Old Town Road and Main Street.
Officials say the gas company was working in the area when the line broke and they were quickly able to stop the leak.
