With Christmas mere weeks away, many southwestern Connecticut residents must make a big decision when it comes to Christmas trees: real or fake.
Some residents say they prefer the real tree for its natural beauty and pine smell.
Other residents say they dislike having to deal with the mess, such as falling pine needles.
The issue can even divide some families.
"I'm definitely in the real camp, but my wife wants an artificial," says Mike Montefusco.
