A local restaurant says it's doing everything it can to help Connecticut celebrate Valentine's Day not just romantically, but safely.
La Vista Bistro and Bar in Stamford is offering a four-course meal for $120 per couple. Co-owner Ram Komani, who opened the restaurant with his wife during the pandemic, says he's not surprised that reservations are fully booked for dinner on Sunday night. The restaurant can fill up to 50% capacity but stays under that number to keep it safer for guests.
For those who want to stay home, delivery and takeout is also available.
A study by the National Retail Federation says out of the 52% of people planning to celebrate Valentine's Day, 24% are planning to dine out and 41% are planning on staying home.
