A prosecutor says a Ridgefield police officer was justified when he shot and killed an elderly man last year.
The Danbury State's Attorney issued a report clearing officer Jorge Romero in the shooting of John Valluzzo, 75.
Prosecutors say Romero killed Valluzzo last year during a domestic dispute after Valluzzo refused to put his gun down.
Valluzzo was an Army veteran and founder of the Military Museum of Southern New England in Danbury.
