Former NYPD Chief of Department Rodney Harrison made it official this morning at the Police Academy in Brentwood.

Officials: Torrington recount finds Republican Joe Canino winner

sworn in today.
Former NYPD Chief of Department Rodney Harrison made it
official this morning at the Police Academy in Brentwood.
Harrison recently retired after a 30-year career with the
NYPD.
Harrison
replaces Suffolk County Police Commissioner Geraldine Hart, who resigned in May for a job as
head of security at Hofstra University.
