Tensions between Russia and Ukraine are causing the cost of gas to rise, even in Connecticut.
The average price for a gallon of regular in Connecticut is currently $3.65.
The cost is up 5 cents from a week ago and up 16 cents from a month ago.
Connecticut is well above the national average price of gas which is $3.51 per gallon.
Last year, gas was $2.60 a gallon for regular in Connecticut.
