A Stratford school started the year with a new playground.
Students at Saint Mark's, their parents, friends, and teachers all participated in Dannon Yogurt's "Rally for Recess" contest.
They collected codes from the yogurt containers, and Saint Mark's was selected as one of five schools to get a $30,000 playground makeover.
Saint Mark's principal and pastor as well as Stratford's mayor helped cut the opening ribbon Thursday.
