Sales Tax Free Week began Sunday as part of an emergency bill passed by lawmakers and signed into law by Gov. Ned Lamont.
The week is like the Sales Tax Free Week that takes place before the start of school each year.
The bill includes no sales tax on clothes and shoes under $100.
Sales Tax Free Week will run through Saturday.
