A group dedicated to preventing gun-related deaths called Sandy Hook Promise is asking people to speak up and say something. 
Today is the start of National Say Something week.
The group's goal is to teach kids how to spot and respond to possible threats both online and in person.
The organization has put together free training materials and they are encouraging schools to share the information with their students this week.
