A group of sanitation workers in Bridgeport did their part to help keep the city warm Sunday.
The group, known as Talking Trash, held a coat drive.
People dropped off coats, hats, gloves and blankets outside of Micalizzi's Italian Ice on Madison Avenue.
Organizers say they had a great response.
The group plans to deliver the donated items to United Congregational Church in Bridgeport Wednesday.
They plan to distribute the coats next week.
This is the third year the group has collected coats for families in need.
