School is canceled today at Joel Barlow High School after a contractor accidentally added fuel oil to the water storage tank, officials say.
They say the Department of Public Health is clearing out the water and will clean the system.
Officials say the day off from school will have to be made up by the end of the year. Athletic events that aren't at the school will still be held.
