Police say extra patrols were at several schools in Stratford and Bridgeport today after a threat was posted.
Officials said local eighth-graders were group-messaging about a possible school shooting today.
Police said they would be at Stratford High School, Wooster Middle School and Fairchild Wheeler Magnet.
They said their investigation found the threat was actually a repost of an old threat from out of state.
