Boy and Girl Scouts in Milford spent two days camped out for a good cause.
Wasson Field was packed over the weekend with tents filled with scouts and volunteers as part of the annual Thanks for Giving food drive.
They were out for 48 hours in the cold weather in order to collect, pack and distribute food.
Organizers say they were able to hand out Thanksgiving meals and other food to about 315 families in the community.
Scout leaders say this year's event was the most successful food drive they have ever had.
Over the past 11 years, organizers say they have helped more than 1,000 Milford families through the food drive.
