Police continue to search for the man who may have tried to abduct a teenage girl in Stratford last week.
According to police, the 16-year-old was approached last Tuesday around 8 p.m. by a man in a van on Nichols Avenue, just north of Johnson Avenue.
Police describe the suspect as balding with short brown and gray hair with a mustache and goatee. He also had a cross tattoo on his right ear.
The suspect was driving a white van or minivan with a brown stripe running along the side. The van reportedly had tinted windows with Connecticut license plates. The license plate had a frame around it with the word Milford on the top.
Anyone with information is urged to call the Stratford Police Department at 203-385-4122.
