Security was tight at Stamford High School Friday after police say a student slashed another student with a box cutter.
Police arrested a 15-year-old freshman after he allegedly sliced the student in the bathroom. The victim sustained cuts to his chin and chest. Police are now investigating whether the attack was a gang-related incident.
The accused student has been suspended from school. Meanwhile, the principal has assured parents through a letter on the school?s Web site that the school is safe.
