Senator Richard Blumenthal says he's going to be pushing for new federal funding in 2024 to assist local nonprofits that help families stay warm during the winter.
Blumenthal says organizations - like Bridgeport's Monitor My Health - play an important role in preventing financial issues from becoming mental health issues.
