Multiple people were arrested in connection with a recent undercover operation targeting those seeking sexual activity with minors, according to the Norwalk Police Department.
The investigation was conducted by Norwalk, Stamford police and U.S. Homeland Security investigators.
The investigation uncovered advertisements on dating websites and social media platforms.
Undercover officers then posed as 15-year-old males and females, which led to the arrest of four individuals.
The men are facing charges of criminal attempt at risk of injury sexual contact with a victim under 16 and sexual assault.
Detroja Kabhi, 23, of West Haven, was arrested on additional charges of criminal attempt of sexual abuse of a minor.
Giys Jbeili, 34, of Milford, was also arrested on charges of criminal attempt of sexual abuse of a minor.
Jonathan Celis-Hernandez, 39, and 38-year-old Luis Figueroa, both from Norwalk, were also arrested.
All four individuals were held on a $500,000 bond.
They are scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on June 26.
