Several people have been hospitalized after a four-car accident Thursday night in New Canaan.
The accident happened near the intersection of Silvermine and Clapboard Hill roads. Police say some of the people were trapped in their vehicles and a person had been thrown from one.
Police say several people were seriously hurt with potentially life-threatening injuries. They were taken to Norwalk Hospital.
