Shelton police are investigating a head-on collision that left one person dead.
Police say it happened in the area of Bridgeport Avenue and Nells Rock Road at around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Leigh Sabo, 24, of Shelton was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and later died.
Police say Sabo's 15-month-old daughter was in the car at the time and suffered minor injuries.
They say driver of the other vehicle, Leigh Brewster, 41, of Monroe was also hurt.
