Shelton police: Waterbury man fatally struck by work vehicle
Erick Irizarry of Waterbury was was struck and killed by a work vehicle on Monroe Street while working in the area for Asplundh Tree Service.

16h agoA 29-year-old Waterbury man was struck and killed by a work vehicle on Monroe Street just after 1 p.m. on Friday, according to Shelton police.
Erick Irizarry of Waterbury was working in the area for Asplundh Tree Service at the time of the accident.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to a news release, the Shelton Police Department Accident Reconstruction Team is actively investigating the incident.
