  • Fog Monday morning
  • Showers Monday Afternoon
  • Storms Monday evening after 6 p.m.

  • Warm with some rain Thursday
Your generic weather app on the phone won't help you much here, but that's where we come in with a hyperlocal forecast you can only find on News 12. We are tracking heavy rain Monday evening. Temperatures yesterday hit 80 before tumbling back to normal in minutes. We will see more temperature swings in the next few days. Here's everything you need to know.
Cloudy Today
An east breeze off the Atlantic Ocean rushed in yesterday evening, bringing clouds and cool weather that will linger all day today. Highs will rise to the mid 50s with a few peeks of sunshine in the middle of the afternoon. We can't rule out a stray shower, but no umbrellas are needed if you have a nice jacket.
Overnight tonight, patchy showers are expected with fog likely for the Monday morning commute.
Storm Watch Monday Evening
Monday is cloudy with morning fog, then a surge of warm air arrives in the afternoon with mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance for a shower. Temperatures could hit the low 60s in the middle of the day, and this will fuel heavy rain in the evening. A few gusty thunderstorms for the late Monday evening commute, after 7 p.m. These storms could linger into the early overnight hours.
Cold & Dry Mid-Week
April starts off cool and dry with temperatures near or below the seasonal average for Tuesday and Wednesday. That means afternoon highs will struggle to stay in the 50s so make sure you have a jacket. Rain is not expected Tuesday or Wednesday.
Stormy Thursday
We're expecting rain to return on Thursday, mainly in the morning. The rain doesn't look severe at this time, but a surge of warm air will come with it. Temperatures may hit 70 again on Thursday.
Gloomy and chilly end of the week
Cloudy skies are expected for the end of the week. Friday will be in the 60s, but temperatures tumble next weekend.
