The state Supreme Court has upheld the murder conviction of Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel.
Skakel was convicted in 2002 for the bludgeoning death of Martha Moxley in 1975. He appealed his case last year, claiming the statute of limitations had expired when he was charged with the crime in 2000. He is currently serving 20 years to life for the crime he committed when he was 15 years old.
Skakel still has an appeal pending in Stamford Superior Court in which another individual implicates two other men in the crime.
