Some southwestern CT residents may have to wait for flu shot

A delay in distribution of flu shots means some southwestern Connecticut residents will have to wait to get vaccinated.
A survey by the Fairfield County Medical Association finds 10 percent of about 300 local doctors haven't received their flu shot shipments yet. Thirty-three percent have only received partial shipments.
But doctors say there's no reason to panic and every reason to believe there will eventually be enough flu shots to go around this season. And while some shipments to doctors? offices have been delayed, many flu shots are available at clinics throughout the area. Click here for more information.
