A southern storm system brought some light snowfall to southwestern Connecticut on the first day of spring.
News 12 meteorologists say the snowfall is expected through early Monday morning.
Snowfall totals will remain low, with most places expected to only receive a coating of 1 to 4 inches. The heavier amounts will be toward the eastern part of the state.
Some places saw wet, slippery roads for the morning rush.
