The Stamford Chamber of Commerce held its annual Meeting and Awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Tuesday.

The event featured a lecture about the impact of technology on the workplace, local economies, and education.

The keynote speaker says the annual meeting is a great way to connect the business community.

"Local businesses come together at a chamber event,” said John Arena, the CEO of Serendipity Labs. “It's really good because they get involved with not only people in their own subset of industry but also banking, finance, and also government.”

This is the 31st year the Stamford Chamber of Commerce has held this event.
