Hundreds of people gathered in Stamford this weekend for a taste of Poland.
The 39th annual Polish Harvest Festival was held at Holy Name of Jesus Church.
The festival featured live music, traditional dancing and many favorites of Polish cuisine.
Church officials say the event is a way to welcome the community to celebrate their culture with their parish.
"We present a little bit of who we are, since we've been here since 1913, and we're part of this part of Stamford that everybody knows. We're the Polish church and they come and share a little bit of our culture," says Fr. Pawel Hrebenko.
News 12 is told an actor from a Polish soap opera was at the festival.
