A Stamford firefighter starred in one of the Super Bowl pre-game commercials.
Guy Fortt starred in an AARP commercial and says he's been flooded with calls from friends about his big gig.
Fortt auditioned six times before getting a role in the commercial themed "Fearless at 50." The retired Greenwich firefighter says that he liked the commercial's message that no matter what your age, you can do anything.
Fittingly, it aired during a Super Bowl where 39-year-old Peyton Manning became the oldest quarterback to win the big game.
"At 50, if you follow your dreams and you follow your desires, major things can happen. And I saw that in Peyton and that team," said Fortt.
