Students from the Hart Magnet School in Stamford visited the city's UConn campus Wednesday where Stamford Superior Court Judge Gary White read to them.
The event was part of UConn Stamford's Co-Op Children's Reading Program, which lasts for three days and involves high-ranking members of the community.
UConn Stamford officials say it is the 16th year of the program, and they thrive on showing kids how important it is to read.
UConn officials say the program concludes Thursday when Mayor David Martin will read to students from the Stamford charter School for Excellence.
