A Stamford man is accused of stealing power equipment from the Stamford Marriott.

Police stopped Michael Genovese for driving the wrong way on Tuesday. That's when they found out his car was used to steal power equipment from a storage area at the hotel.

Police say Genovese was also stopped just minutes after the alleged theft with two others in his car.

Police are now asking for help identifying those people.

Police say the stolen equipment may have been sold. Stamford police is asking anyone with information to call them.
