The Stamford man accused in the case where a 3-month-old baby was raped and killed will be behind bars for the next 14 years.
Osvaldo Romero was sentenced Monday.
He pleaded guilty to manslaughter and risk of injury back in May under the Alford Doctrine.
That means he does not admit guilt, but agrees there's enough evidence to convict him.
Police say the infant died after Romero baby-sat for the child in 2011.
