Stamford man sentenced to 2 years for unlawful possession of firearm
A Stamford man was sentenced Monday to two years in prison for unlawful possession of a firearm.
Amin Hasan was arrested back in 2020. Court documents say he was causing a disturbance at a shopping plaza, so police searched his van.
They found 13 filled gas cans, two hatchets and an ax.
Police say they found knives, smoke grenades and a loaded gun after a search of his house.
Hasan will follow the two years of prison with three years of parole.
