A neighborhood in Stamford is hoping for solutions after a series of car crashes yards away from a school.
The latest happened Monday night on Pepperidge Road, near Fawn Drive.
According to neighbors, the car hit a street sign, which crews have removed, and also a utility pole.
Neighbors say there's been a handful of collisions in just the last few months, all just 450 feet away from Newfield Elementary.
Police haven't said what led up to the collision, but neighbors say speeding has become a big problem on the road.
Board Representative Steve Kolenberg says police will soon add patrols to the area.
Kolenberg also says the traffic bureau is looking into any solutions.
