Stamford police are asking the public to help identify a pedestrian hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash last night. Officials say the accident happened at the corner of West Broad and Stephen streets

Stamford police are asking the public to help identify a pedestrian hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash last night. Officials say the accident happened at the corner of West Broad and Stephen streets when a car struck the victim and he slammed into the windshield. He was tossed to the pavement, lying there until paramedics arrived. He did not have any form of identification. He has not been able to tell police who he is because of his condition. Police say they are unsure whether the victim will survive. Anyone with information is urged to call Stamford police at 203-977-4444.
